I've been dying to put these pictures up, but I had to wait until after father's day since these were his present. I just didn't have my computer til now to put them up (we were on vacation)

They turned out so CUTE, thank you Melissa for taking the time to take these! Cory was pleasantly surprised when he saw all them for Fathers Day!

She was not a happy girl. She had a runny nose and I kept wiping it. (we ended up taking a nap after this picture) It made for a really cute picture though!

3 years ago today...

3 years ago today....

I cannot believe that 3 years ago today Cory and I were married for time and all eternity! They really have flown by so fast! We've gotten a lot accomplished in just these short three years together. We've both finished our schooling at BYUI, and finished my cosmetology degree shortly after, started chiropractic school, had the most beautiful little girl and is expecting another beautiful child together! We've learned so many things about each other and have had so many wonderful memories together.
I truly am blessed to be married to this amazing man, I cannot describe how much I love him! He helps me when I'm down, he makes me laugh everyday, reminds me how beautiful I am to him, and listens intensely to my day. I girl couldn't ask for more :)
I really married well, he has the most amazing family. After spending a few weeks with them recently and the last three years together I really have felt their love for me and they have truly accepted me into there family. I don't know what my life would be like without them! I am so grateful for this marriage and am SO excited for the rest of eternity together!

BEST DATE EVER!

May 31st is such a happy day, not only is it my birthday but it's also my mom's birthday too! She's told me that I'm the BEST birthday present that she's ever received! It's sad that these last couple years I haven't been able to share it with her together, for that reason my birthday is hard to celebrate without her. But this year Cory spoiled me, and made it easy to realize that my mom wasn't there.

This past week Cory's mom flew in for a visit! Since Cory's sister lives in San Fransisco she had lots of reasons to come down. We've been busy traveling up there and they traveling down here. Anyways...so Friday night we decided to spend the night at his sisters and were going to catch a movie and some dinner while Cory's mom watched Miley. This was a badly needed date, and we really haven't been on any dates since Miley was born.
The movie was great! We saw Angles and Demons....highly recommend! Cory had snuck in some of our favorite cookies and drinks. We always do this, I have such a huge purse that nobody knows!! The plan after the movie was to go out for dinner, so when we got to the car Cory had me type in the address to the restaurant...which I had no idea where we were going. When we got to our location, I was completely confused because we were in a residential neighborhood, and there were no restaurants anywhere! We get out of the car and started walking. Cory then tells me that were not eating yet and that were not going back home tonight!
He surprised me with a bed and breakfast suite!
This place was so amazing, it was built in the 1800 one of the last remaining buildings that survived the big earthquake. I learned a lot about San Fransisco's history while there. The owner took us around the historic building and showed us all these pictures about SF.
One interesting thing I learned...
Why is the Golden Gate Bridge called the Golden Gate Bridge if it's not the color of Gold? Answer: Because the bridge is the gateway to the were the 'gold rush' was. Interesting huh?
Like I said this place was amazing, you really wouldn't think it was by just driving by. They have this 'secret garden' in the back that had this canopy with a hot tube made of wood. Very romantic. Then you can go all the way up to the roof and they have this great view of the city.
Anyways so after our tour, they owner had suggested a few places to eat around us. I guess they have 100 different restaurants within walking distance. He suggested this authentic Italian restaurant that was very romantic.
The restaurant was very calming and romantic like he said. It was very small and personable, each table had some roses and a candle. I've never been to Italy but it felt like I was there! The food was really good. I wasn't sure what I was ordering, but it was delicious. What a wonderful end to a wonderful day! This was honestly the best date that I have ever been on, it really makes a difference when it's with someone you love.
It went way to fast, I wish we could of stayed there longer. But sadly all things have to come to an end....and we were running out of money :)
Since he spent a lot on this, we both felt that it would be a combination present. Cory's birthday is this month and next month is our 3 year anniversary. Of course I'm still going to do something for him, but honestly I don't think I will be able to top this!

The verdict

The Verdict

Anyways so my appointment today turned out really well! So the verdict is that we just have one healthy baby! I'm so glad too, I feel like I can finally relax. So the other sac is pretty much gone though. There is like a small pocket left, which they think will get absorbed.
Oh and they still couldn't find the IUD! They are guessing that it fell out and I just didn't know it or that it got shoved up into my abdomen. Which I wont be able to find out for sure until after the baby gets here. Then I could do an x-ray to find out where it is exactly.
But other than that, the baby is like 2 inches long, I'm 12 weeks and my due date is december 13th. Now this pregnancy feels a lot more real to me!

I have another ultrasound for July 24th, and that is when we get to find the sex!

Hooray! Miley's first tooth just sprouted out this Monday. We are so excited for our little munchkin. The bad part about this is that our poor little girl is going through so much pain, I think it hurts me more than it hurts her.
Were doing our best to try to distract her from the pain, like going on a bunch of walks and lots of Mommy time. :)
Any suggestions about easing the pain?

8 months old! How did that happen?

How is our little baby is 8 months old already? It's crazy to think that she'll be one just around the corner. She'll be even a whole different person by then. Here are a few little tidbits about our darling little girl!

*I love that she is a marathon sleeper. She goes to bed anywhere from 7:30-8:30 and then sleeps straight until 7 or 8 and then and then another 2 right after that. She's always been a great sleeper since she was 3 weeks old.
*She loves her food...if you can't tell, she has the cheeks to tell! Her favorite foods would have to be butternut squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, and sweet peas. I haven't given her a lot of fruit yet, but I'm sure she'll love them.
* I love her extremely long lashes and plump lips. She got this feature from her daddy. We can already tell the boys are doing to drool over her! Cory said she's not allowed to date til she's 22...right like that's going to happen. :)
* She loves her bath time! I could leave her in it all night if I let her, she is defiantly a water baby. I can't wait to teach her how to swim! Those that don't know, I'm a licenced Water Safety Instructor...someday I would love to teach again.
*She loves being outside. Whenever she is being fussy all we have to do is take her on a walk outside and she's completely calm.
*She loves the car ride, which is great for us! She'll just stare out the window the whole time.
*I love that she sucks her thumb. It's really the cutest thing ever ( I'm sure I'll change my mind a few years from now) Whenever she sticks that thumb in, we know that she's ready to sleep.
*We just discovered that she loves stuffed animals, she gets this great big smile on her face whenever we pull them out.
* Her favorite sound to make is da-da. I know she doesn't know what it means, but I'll let Cory think that she's calling for him :)
*She loves music. Especially primary music and classical music. We've noticed that she has always tuned into music even as a little baby.
*She LOVES baby einstein. She is totally tuned out to everything else when she's watching it. She even gets mad when I turn it off or it's over. I'm sure she'd love it if I sat her in front of it all day.
*She loves her johny jumper. She goes crazy in that thing, also she could be in that thing all day if we let her. Cory doesn't like her being in it longer than 10-15 minutes a day since, he learned at school that it's not good for there spine.
*She's so strong, we can tell that when she is more mobile she will be going 100 miles an hour! *She's really good at sitting up.
* Still no teeth yet,. If she's anything like me...I was a really late bloomer. I still had baby teeth in 9th grade!
*She's getting better at rolling over, really good at rolling over from her back to her stomach. She doesn't quite understand how to roll back over to her back.
* She has been on 5 airplane rides. More than I ever did at that age! I'm pretty sure I was 12 when I first rode on a airplane. In June our family is going to Canada, so this will be her and my first time outside the country!
* She is going to be a big sister coming this December!
* She is the best thing that has ever happen to Cory and I! And we love our little Miley so much!!!!

See..the boys are already line'n up! Looks like Colby and Stetson are going to have to flight for her!

The Beans are spilled...

The Beans are spilled...

So if you haven't noticed the baby ticker on the left...then yes, it's true I am pregnant! Now, just so everyone knows...this was not planned, and in fact I had an IUD placed in so this exact thing didn't happen. IUD's are 99% effective, but I guess there is still that 1% chance that you could get pregnant...so I looks like were that lucky 1%.

There are a few concerns though, the IUD is still intact and the doctors cant seam to find it. So it either fell out or it got pushed up really far. The other concern is that I happen to have two sacs! So I may be having twins, but they can only see one heart beat. At first they though that the sac was irregular shaped and because of that, I would most likely miscarry. But after having a second ultrasound they discovered that the sac is not irregular shaped, but that I have two separate sacs.

So why am I posting this if I may miscarry? Because my lovely husband spilled the beans and told a handful of people at his school...that then leaked through the ward, and so know almost everyone knows....I guess it was just a matter of time. I wasn't planning on telling people til I was around 3 months, but...yeah that didn't happen. I figured that it's better to hear it from me than through the great vine.

So what next? We will just have to have faith in whatever outcome may happen. We honestly believe that this special spirit is meant to be here, even if I miscarry I have learned and grown from this experience so far.
The more I think about it, the more at ease I feel. Yeah Miley and he/she may only be 15 months apart, but they will be best friends! It will almost be like having twins. I think that the Lord decided to give me Miley first because she is such an easy baby that having a second one right after her won't be as hard. I know that I will adjust to the new baby and eventually I won't know any difference.

So how did I figure out I was pregnant? Well it's simple, I realized that I missed my period and that I started feeling sick like I was with Miley.

Well that's the BIG news! I will defiantly keep everyone updated on the progress!
