She's finally here! Makayla Noelle Osborne was born Monday, Dec 7th at 2:45 p.m. She weighed 8 lbs and 5 oz, and 20 1/2 inches long.

We love her so much and are so happy for her to be in our lives.

Labor and delivery turned out a lot better than expected. Monday morning around 8 am, I started having some contractions that started out 5 minutes apart. I had been having a lot of braxton hicks contractions for the last couple months, so I figured that the contractions were nothing. The braxton hicks contractions usually don't last so long, but the contractions I were having weren't going away and were getting stronger and stronger. So that's when I called Cory to tell him my status. I felt so bad because it was the Monday of finals week and he was just about to go into his first final. I don't know what it is about our girls...Miley was also born in the Monday of finals week!
I called the doctor to see what we should do, and said that we should go ahead to the hospital. But by the time Cory got home my contractions were pretty much gone! So I called the doctor again to tell him the contractions were basically gone. But he still wanted me to come in to see. I felt so dumb being there, I really felt that we were going to be send back home....but to our surprise I was dilated to 5-6 cm! Our doctor was going to coming within the hour to break my water! It seamed so surreal, I couldn't be having a baby today! So the doctor came, broke my water, and left....but he wasn't gone very long! Makayla came 55 minutes later! She may have come sooner, but we had to wait for our doctor. I got very lucky this time and didn't even tear! Recovery has been so nice. Makayla had a few bruises on her face and one big one on top of her head from coming so quickly....other than that she is perfect!!! She looks exactly like Miley, they really are going to be asked if there twins there whole life!

Finally after fourteen months Miley is a walking fool. Okay, so not really but to us it seems that way! We've been waiting for this day for so long, and it's just in time for the next baby to come. Were so proud of Miley!!

Cory video taped this himself, so it's all over the place...but at least you get the picture. And this was taken before bedtime, so she's a little grumpy.

P.S. On a side note, baby Makayla (that's the name we've decided) should apartently come early....but that's what I was told with Miley at this time. I'm all ready dialated to a 2, same as with Miley. We'll just plan for the baby coming on her due date (dec 22nd)...who knows though!

Halloween

So I know this post is really late, I totally forgot to up these pictures up here! Things have been really busy around here, I think everyone wants to get there hair done for Thanksgiving and in before I have the baby!

Sorry I didn't take a picture of either Cory's or my costume. They were both pretty pathetic. Cory wore a green shirt and green shorts and put a sign on him that said 'gone green.' He made that one up all by himself. I wore all black and safety pinned a black widow symbol on my belly...and I was a black widow. Ha ha, I know pretty lame!

Miley made a really cute Ladybug this year. She didn't care for the hood part, but at least we got a few pictures of her wearing it.

This video makes us laugh, she was trying so hard to chase this little boy, but the floor was just too slippery!

Growling and Barking

Lately Miley has been growling like a bear/lion all the time! We can't get her stop! It can be kinda embarrasing especially in the middle of sacrament meeting! She's also good at barking like a dog.

Fall Days!

Half Moon Bay

About this time last year, we headed out to half moon bay with Cory's sister and his mom. We had fun walking around and taking some fun pictures with all the pumpkins. This was one our favorite pictures:

I know were so mean to leave her crying in the pumpkins, but we just thought it made for a really cute picture. (she was only 2 weeks old)


So we decided to make it a tradition (at least while where living here) to make it out to half moon bay to pick a pumpkin, and take some cute pictures.


It's not that we purposely made her cry, we really thought that this would of made a cute picture! She just got really scared when we left her alone. It did actually make for a cute picture, and now we have two really cute harvest pictures of Miley crying.

Utah/Idaho

Utah and Idaho

We had such a busy 2 weeks! During Cory's break from school we drove the long 13 hour drive to Utah. The drive wasn't all that bad since we drove straight through the night, so Miley would sleep all the way through. While we were there we were able to visit lot of friends and family.

We were only in Utah for just a few days before we drove up to Rexburg, Idaho. Sadly, Cory's grandma passed away so we were able to attend her funeral. I never got to know Cory's grandma very well before she passed, but I was telling Cory after the service that I felt that I now know her better because of all the great stories shared about her life. She seamed like a wonderful woman, and I am so grateful that we decided to use her name as Miley's middle name. "Miley Kay"

Cory and I enjoyed being back in good ol' Rexburg. It brought back some great memories of when we were first dating and when we were newlyweds. We hadn't made it back there in about 2 years! I really wanted to see the Rexburg temple, since it was being built when we left. Unfortunately it was closed, but we were able to walk around the temple grounds to see it.

After our weekend trip to Rexburg, Cory drove back home to California to get back to school on Monday. While I headed back to Utah with Miley for a week to see my family a little bit more.
During our week stay, my parents and I drove down to St. George for 2 days to see my Grandma Smith. My Grandma hadn't seen Miley yet, and I also haven't seen her in a long time as well.

Man, did we do a lot of driving in those short 2 weeks! Miley held up pretty good, so it made our road trips a lot easier!

We were able to drive up provo canyon and see the gorgeous fall colors. I think this year was the best, I was in awe with all the beauty!

Miley is One!!

Miley is One!

How can this be? I swear we were just taking her home from the hospital yesterday. For Miley's present, I have been working on her baby book. I figured that now is the best time to do her scrapbook since in a couple months I wont have any time! I'm quite impressed with it, and I'm sure in a few years Miley will be too.
To celebrate today we thought that eating out at 'Outback' was quite suitable. Since a year ago today...we were there, and where my water broke. We might have to make this a tradition :)
We came home tonight and opened a few presents from the Grandparents and us. But out of all the presents she received a balloon was her favorite toy! Ha ha I guess we know what to get her for Christmas. :) We are so grateful for all the wonderful presents that Miley received...Thanks!

We were fortunate enough to catch this shot of Miley's 'chinese' face. It's kinda funny that she does this because I did the same face as a baby too. My parents called me there little China doll. Every time she does this it makes us laugh! We love our little chinese girl!

Brotherly Love

Brotherly Love

This past week Cory's brother Kyle spent 2 days with us while him and his wife was visiting family. I think Cory and Kyle had a great time catching up on there 'brotherly love.'

It didn't take them long at all to catch up, as soon as Kyle arrived they started an intense battle of wii. I don't remember who won the match, but I remember there was a lot of 'smack' talk and wrestling going on. It was like watching two little kids all night. All night was right, they stayed up til who knows when! That next morning they got up early to go to school with Cory and played a bunch of tennis.

Who's car is who's? I guess these boys have always copied each other in many things. I love hearing all the funny stories of these two growing up. In fact, they have the same SeaHawks hat they both got for Christmas. It's just too cute :)

In the past week while I was in Utah, Miley learned a few new tricks! I told my little brother that I'd give him a free hair cut if he taught Miley how to crawl. (I was going to give him a free on anyways) It was so cute, I caught him on several different occasions working with Miley on the floor. Apparently it worked!

My Utah trip was wonderful! I finally got to meet my little niece Zoey. She's is such a cutie! Seeing her made me really excited about our new little one! I was able to see my brother Sid and his little family. I couldn't believe how big little Parker was getting. He looks so much like Lori! On top of all that Miley learned all these new tricks, it was the icing on the cake!

It's a Girl!!

Were having a....

GIRL!!

Yeah Miley is going to be a big sister! The great part about having another girl is that we wont have to buy more clothes, they will only be a year apart so the styles wont change a lot! And I don't have to worry about changing the decorations up in Mileys room.
Were working on putting up some ultrasound pictures soon. But everything else looks great, the baby is healthy and growing and developing everything as she should be. She was even sucking her thumb, just like her big sister did in the womb and like she does now. (We're going to make some orthodontist really happy someday)

Now we just have to start thinking of names! This part is fun! So far the only two that Cory and I can agree on are the names Devry and Jordan. But were still trying to think of some more...any suggestions?

Canada!

Canada!

Since Cory's family lives about 2 hours from the Canadian boarder, and have a time share up in Lake Okanagan, we all decided to go up for a couple days! We were a little scared that I wouldn't make it across the boarder. The boarder rules had changed June 1st, and required everyone that they have a passport, nexus card, or enhanced drivers license. I had gotten approved for a nexus card, but I couldn't get an interview because they were all filled up. We took the risk and just brought my birth certificate, hoping that they'd let it slide. We drove up the night before everyone else did, just to make sure I could get across....luckily to our surprise they let me in!! And I'm sure glad that they did because we had a lot of fun!! The weather was perfect! We had fun swimming, ski dooing, boating, taking walks on the board walk, playing lots of fun games, eating yummy food, and just relaxing!

I just want to thanks Cory's mom, Rhonda, for paying for this fun and glamours trip!! We made some good memories!

The 4th of July

This 4th we spent it in Washington with family! We had fun swimming, playing games, eating yummy food, lighting off fireworks, and of course taking cute picture of Miley.
